Carter Dillard Carter is Senior Policy Advisor to the Animal Legal Defense Fund, a former visiting scholar at the Uehiro Centre at Oxford, and founder of Having Kids. He's currently litigating a case that will determine whether humans have a right to the continued existence of the nonhuman world, and whether the concept of human freedom makes any sense without that world. He writes in a personal capacity. Alistair Currie is Head of Campaigns and Communications at Population Matters. He previously worked at Free Tibet, and as a senior campaigner in a number of UK animal rights organisations, including PETA-UK and Cruelty-Free International (then BUAV).
