This decision by the court to protect red wolves from being shot and killed offers a glimmer of hope for species recovery.

Parkinson’s UK will provide more than £780,000 for work which will include testing a drug on marmosets. The usual way to ‘model’ Parkinson’s Disease in monkeys is to inject them with a toxic chemical which results in terrible symptoms, including paralysis, total loss (or extreme slowness) of movement, rigidity, loss of vocalization and uncontrollable tremors.
