Sinikka Crosland is the President of The Canadian Horse Defence Coalition (CHDC). The CHDC is a collective of people, and national groups, who have joined forces in order to ban the slaughter of horses for human consumption in Canada. Of all the predatory activities that human beings are capable of, the act of knowingly sending companion animals down the slaughter pipeline to be eaten, for the sake of profit, must be close to the top of the most reprehensible list.
