The first time I visited Bali, in 2008, it was one of the best places in the world for street dogs. The people of each community took collective care of their local dogs, providing them with food and medical care, and compassion for dogs was enshrined as a cultural virtue, as in popular religious tales such as that of Yudisthira, an ancient Hindu king who defied a god and gave up his place in Heaven rather than betray the loyalty of a dog. It’s heartbreaking how far it has fallen.

Stop the mass killing of Bali's dogsThe Governor of the island of Bali ordered the mass killing of roaming dogs. Thousands of innocent dogs are killed every year, often suffering slow and painful deaths. Tell Balinese officials to stop the mass killings.
So mean! And wow! he is a governor! Ok can you provide me the link where i could sign a petition to stop the mass killing of Bali’s dogs? If there is not yet any petition lets start otherwise!
