The Cat Care Community is a new organization made to share your love, spirit and mind about the cats! The main mission of the project is to help homeless cats find owners and homes, and in this way facilitate a positive attitude towards cats! We are here to help people and organizations to find family and help for cats, to improve the lives of cats and to develop their welfare and behavior. I had cats during my childhood. Unfortunately, for the last 15 years I have lived in an apartment without cats. That is why I started to take photos of them as a reminder of my youth.
Although Zanda Indriksone did not study about animals in depth in high school or university, she gained knowledge about cats, their nature and health from her own experience. During this time she helped more than 350 cats.
No matter how resourceful Riga’s outdoor cats are, they need help surviving winter. Every day we receive a cry for help, looking for a temporary or permanent home for abandoned and homeless cats. That is why we created a project: Outdoor Cat Houses.
Cat Care Community has spent the last year collecting photos and helping street cats find real loving homes. Photographing cats has proven the main key to alerting the world that each and every cat has a story to tell.
