I think I’ve said before how good all the Gardein products are. The orangey Mandarin non-chicken is ever so good, especially if you add some veggies like sugar snap peas and tomatoes and serve with rice. The beef less burger is almost incredibly good, especially with the only vegan sliced non-cheese I like, which is Chao. Except for Trader Joe’s shredded vegan “mozzarella,” which is more like parmesan, and is good on top all things Italian, until I found Chao, I would rather do without the cheese altogether than have to eat the plastic tasting vegan brands (so you see, I’m telling you straight). Good soft vegan spreadable “cheeses” come from Miyoko’s Kitchen. Alas, these vegan items do cost more than animal products because they are not government subsidized like meat and dairy products.
