Alongside the human crisis in Greece, there is an animal crisis. I work with a group in Athens and on the island of Aegina and every day we are faced with cases of animal abuse and abandonment. BUT we have a group of dedicated animal welfare workers and activists working to keep the situation under control. That is our battle right now.
