Author R.T. Desrosiers

R.T. Desrosiers is a graduate student currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in zooarchaeology at the University of York in York, United Kingdom. He received his Bachelor of Arts in anthropological archaeology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, USA. R.T.’s work in archaeology has been broad, encompassing commercial field archaeology, tribal archaeology, and academic archaeology. His present research is focused on marine and freshwater fishing in the North Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, specifically how fish bone can best be analysed using stable dietary isotopes. Other research interests include zooarchaeological data analysis, zooarchaeology of the Viking Age, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction.
